DEAR MUSIC LOVERS AND FANS OF SWAYZAK (not always the same thing)

ON THE ADVENT OF THE RELEASE OF OUR 5TH ALBUM " SOME
OTHER COUNTRY" THOUGHT I SHOULD WRITE A BIGLOG!
This album I have to say is our best since our first foray some 9 years ago , well I would say that ! its more of a trip back to our roots and less experimental than previous albums. I felt we had come in for some criticism recently and knew we had to come back with something strong , a statement against all this dull minimalism going on (mind you not all is dull !) and proof that we can make good techno music still …….due on august 28th !
this time we worked with close friends , richard davis , Francesco brini, roger 23, on the writing side . production was done by myself and james with some assistance from matt densham (greta electronic workhops) , and Francesco (pinktronix ) . we found the finest mastering engineer one could in loopo from Dubplates and mastering . artwork designed by our good friend popla 1000 !
story goes like this roger 23 (240 volts /playhouse) suggested we work with cassy ( panoramabar berlin) and it seems she was up for it too ! two tracks recorded ,
the result being “smile and receive” and “quiet life” . There will be a 12” of “smile and receive” with remixes from cassy, Richard davis, apparat and our original album mix ! due out in august on k7 ! already being played out by ellen alien, agoria before I even got a copy ,should be a smash !!!!
we will also follow up with other remixes on swayzak/240 volts and some rare tracks that didn’t make the lp . these will be only be available on 12” initially .
mp3 lovers beware !
the problem now is I see our album on rapidshare, yousendit , and piratebay already as well as countless Russian sites ! people forget that this music must be paid for otherwise we cant make music anymore
to those who purchase we are working on a scheme where we can guestlist those who wish to come to our shows this coming months ! so keep your ears to the ground , check here and k7 site for more details
