A form of rebirth for our sometimes loved, sometimes ignored but ever durable label. We survived genre twisting events of the last 10 years to somehow carry on by going to where we once begun.
Some machines, some tape and some coins were all used in the making of this record. If the truth be told it is a recording from 8 years ago from a multicolored bedroom that spawned host of foolish ideas and even provided a kind of job!So we now can see that with time we can go back to black sleeves, no info and silly names.
So what of Vantuji? Well the first song (velodrome) is his dripping wet slippery growler. A subtle beast that warms up the darkness and allows time to slip as it unfolds via the twin sisters of echo and delay.
The flip (scobie) gets the pressure up with some oh so naughty 606 work a supple beauty that wriggles under the needle, knowing but never giving it up too easily its keeps the listener on some kind of precipice , no ropes or crampons for you my friend.

2 tracks from 2005 in an unedited form. the edited versions were on the vinyl only release of 'carthage milk'. due to distribtion problems, the LP never reached many shops, and these two were overlooked except by RRR of traum who described them as 'excellent dada funk'. so justice is seen to be done by offering them up again for public consumption.
